This website now has a new design, ready for local activities to get going again in some form or another over the coming year. The seven year old WordPress 2014 default theme has been retired in favour of a cleaner ‘Shoreditch’ style, but the colour scheme and masthead stay much the same.
Some content has been rearranged, to make it more manageable on any device. The pages looking at places to visit, refreshments and so on in nearby towns and villages – particularly on a bike ride – are now set up by area:
The events section has also changed systems, not that you can really tell as some of the features are hidden for the moment, pending more content. Our usual round-up of regular festivals – grouped by location and calendar listings – will get updated as we discover their plans for 2021. Please do submit details of local events you are involved in organising via the revamped submission page.
The site design is shared with sister site Cycle Malvern, with just a few tweaks and banner headings to make them distinct. Cycle Malvern is more about enabling and encouraging cycling as a means of transport (to work or school, for shopping, visiting etc.).
