This year has seen many more people cycling, certainly when the roads were quiet due to lockdown, but the take up of electric bikes helped for the hillier parts of Malvern, too.

MalvernTrail has also added a number of entries to the listings of local cycle shops during 2020:

  • Cranky Bikes – bike repairer with workshop near Peachfield Common. From his Facebook page: “customers are welcome to drop off bikes for service and repairs or I offer a collection and drop off service for local customers”.
  • NPJ Cycle Repairs promises “A comprehensive bicycle repair service direct to your home, place of work and for more complex tasks a collect and return service”, and is also based south end of Malvern. The Facebook page has a December update: Now fully equipped to offer Bosch eBike owners diagnostics, software updates and servicing, and set up to accept DfT’s bike repair vouchers.
  • Reliant Cycle Services has been around a little longer, but we only discovered them this year. Based in Suckley, another providing mobile servicing and repair. Facebook page.

See contact details and other local cycle shops and repair services on our listing page.

An existing cycle shop is also due to move to new premises in town, we understand. Watch this space …
