Charity ‘spotty’ dog show and walk

Leukaemia Care is hosting its annual charity ‘spotty’ dog show and dog walk on the 1st September in Malvern, at Link Common:

  • 12.30-1.30pm Picnic and Dog show,
  • 1.30pm-3.00pm after lunch dog walk
  • 3 different walks for different abilities/ages, all finishing at the Nag’s Head for a celebratory drink.

We have held this successful event annually for the last 4 years in line with September’s Blood Cancer awareness month, and our ‘#SpotLeukaemia’ campaign; all about raising awareness of spotting the signs and symptoms of Leukaemia earlier, and the importance of early diagnosis.

Leukaemia Care is a very local blood cancer support charity based in Worcester. We are dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer in any way receives the right information, advice and support. We receive no government funding and therefore rely almost entirely on general donations, support from the community, our own events and the hard work and commitment of our volunteers.

The event is free, and we simply ask for donations on the day. The day is a great fun day out and the dog show is brilliant – with people able to enter their dogs in to a variety of categories to win some brilliant prizes from local businesses!! Please support us by coming along to this fun event! Oh, and go spotty! #SpotLeukaemia
